Legal
Terms of use
These terms govern your use of the Noty app for macOS and the notynot.com service, provided by Raybic Limited (“we”). By downloading Noty or creating an account you agree to them.
1. The service
Noty is a voice assistant that runs on your Mac. Some features (AI answers, mail sorting, Memory reports and spoken replies) use third-party services, relayed through notynot.com when you are signed in. Features may change, and we may set or change fair-use limits on AI and voice usage.
2. Your account
Keep your password safe and tell us about any unauthorised use. You must be at least 13 years old. One person per account.
3. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the service: no attempts to bypass limits, extract API keys, overload or reverse-engineer the relay, resell access, or use Noty for unlawful, harmful or abusive content. You must also follow OpenAI’s usage policies and ElevenLabs’ prohibited use policy. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
4. AI output
AI answers can be wrong or incomplete. Check important information, and don’t rely on Noty for medical, legal, financial or safety-critical decisions. Actions Noty takes on your Mac happen at your request; review what it does.
5. Your content
Your notes, mail and transcripts remain yours. We don’t claim any rights in them and don’t store them on our servers (see the privacy policy).
6. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Noty on Macs you own or control. Noty, its buddy characters and its branding belong to Raybic Limited.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Noty is provided “as is”, without warranties to the extent the law allows. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it (or £50 if you paid nothing). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
8. Ending
You can stop using Noty and delete your account at any time. We may end the service with reasonable notice, or immediately for serious breaches of these terms.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, without affecting the mandatory consumer rights of your country.
